2026-2027 GOALS

At MERCYAUTOCLUBYYC, giving back is a core part of who we are. Our goal is to raise over $100,000 each year for local causes that directly impact our community — from cancer research and animal shelters to programs that support education and keep our streets safe. We use our platform and events to bring people together for something bigger than cars, turning passion into real, measurable impact. Every meet, every collaboration, and every initiative is an opportunity to make a difference. This isn’t just something we support — it’s something we’re committed to building and growing year after year.

We’re committed to working alongside local law enforcement and the City of Calgary to create safer spaces for the automotive community. By advocating for designated areas and controlled environments, our goal is to provide a place where enthusiasts can express their passion without putting others at risk. This means shifting dangerous and illegal driving off public roads and into structured, safer alternatives. We believe real change comes from collaboration, not conflict — and by building these solutions together, we can protect both our community and our streets while keeping the culture alive in the right way.

We believe automotive expression should be respected, and that responsible modifications shouldn’t be treated the same as unsafe ones. Our goal is to advocate against unfair modification-laws for clearer, fairer regulations that support enthusiasts who are building their vehicles the right way — without negatively impacting the public. From aesthetic upgrades to performance modifications done safely and professionally, we stand for the right to personalize and enjoy our vehicles without unnecessary restriction. By working with the right people and leading by example, we aim to help shape a future where car culture is understood, respected, and supported — not misunderstood.

One of our biggest goals is to help bring Calgary it's first truly affordable track and drag strip — a place built for everyday enthusiasts to safely enjoy their cars without turning to public roads. We want to create an environment where anyone can learn, grow, and experience automotive culture the right way. Beyond driving, we plan to offer hands-on education like first aid and emergency response training, while also providing beginner-friendly mechanical lessons for those who are just getting into cars and want to learn the fundamentals. Whether someone wants to understand how to properly maintain their vehicle, build confidence working on their own car, or simply learn from experienced enthusiasts, we want to make automotive knowledge more accessible. Our vision is to create more than just a facility — we want to build a place where people can learn, connect, stay safe, and be part of a community that supports the next generation of car enthusiasts.
